Interreligious and Ecumenical Learning

The increasing plurality of culture and religions in society forms the basis for the activities of the Comenius-Institut on interreligious and ecumenical learning. The documents include an overview of current literature on interreligious learning as well as reports about conferences, seminars and projects.

The Institute has a long tradition in both the theory and the practice of ecumenical learning in close connection with the activities and programmes of the World Council of Churches. Currently a working paper is being distributed to encourage a dialogue about the further development of concepts of ecumenical learning that takes into account changing world views and the current situation of the ecumenical movement.

Special emphasis is placed on the development of modules for global learning in Protestant Universities of Applied Sciences:
